Updates are underway, and the motel itself is pretty modest. The owner was very friendly, the area seemed safe, and the bed was super comfortable. The water pressure was amazing, too. As in most motels, there’s no shampoo or hair dryer, so bring your own. I’d stay again.

The owner has some really cute dogs, and everyone on staff was friendly and courteous. The place is very clean, with terrific water pressure. I booked Friday and Saturday at the last minute. It has a classic Americana feel. I’m here fairly regularly as a ghost hunter, and the mounds are worth checking out. I’ll book again.

The room was a little dated, but it was clean, which mattered more to us. Check-in was effortless, and we felt very welcome. The shower gets hot and has strong water pressure, and free Wi-Fi was handy. It made for a good overnight stop on our trip home after the holidays, with excellent value for the room price.

For $80 a night, I knew what I was getting, and this little room was exactly what I wanted. The owner was very nice and let me pay cash, which I appreciated. No bugs, and it wasn’t drug ridden. Sure, there might be a stain here or there on the floor, but for the money, I’d recommend it and stay again.
