InterContinental Seattle Bellevue, by IHG

The hotel was clean and well kept, but a very disappointing room service dinner on Valentine’s Day overshadowed the stay. We spent about $230, including $88 for my entrée. It arrived roughly 25 minutes after the estimated time, cold, and without my roasted potatoes. I called the front desk right away, but they offered no replacement, bill adjustment, or follow-up. At a premium-priced hotel, that lack of accountability and service recovery was unacceptable.

The hotel is new and well appointed, and the room service was good quality. Henry the valet, Nedea and Derick at the front desk, and Gregory at the bar all helped make my stay lovely. I won't forget that second cocktail!

For our anniversary staycation, this was a great choice. We could walk to restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. The breakfast buffet had a nice spread, and our room was well appointed, with a great soaking tub in the premium room. We had a really good time.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful, but I had trouble sleeping on the 10th floor. The gym is directly above on the 11th and open around the clock, so I kept hearing weights drop, even late at night. If noise bothers you, I'd avoid the 10th floor. Since the gym is over rooms, they should close it after a certain hour.
