Residence Inn By Marriott Seattle Bellevue

These two-story, apartment-style living units are in a class of their own around here. The Residence sets a high standard and would be hard to beat. The rooms have full kitchens with large refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, ovens, and everything else you'd need to live there. Honestly, I could stay in one forever. Everyone I know, me included, would choose this over another high-end or luxury hotel.

The rate was just $109 on a weekend, which is so cheap for this area, and the room was much nicer than I expected. It has an apartment feel, with a full kitchen including a full-size fridge, dishwasher, and stove, plus a full-size couch. Alex at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond to sort out a small room issue. I only planned on one night, but I've got business nearby next week and may stay here instead of making the three-hour drive home each day.

Really cute apartment-style Marriott, and not even at resort level. I spent a few days at the Marriott next door, then moved here for a change of view. Wish I'd switched much sooner. Check-in was smooth and the rooms were really nice.

The front desk was fine, but the rest was a letdown. They only service rooms every three days. My first room had a cup with coffee stains, so I asked to move. The bathroom floor in the next room was dirty, with marks from wheelchairs. There were two shampoos but no body wash, and when I asked, someone came in, turned off the AC, and left. Parking is another $12 a day plus tax. I'm really disappointed and don't understand the high rating.
