Sonesta Select Seattle Bellevue Redmond

We got a room we liked for a really cheap price. The staff were attentive and helpful, and both the lobby and outdoor area are very nice. We were traveling with our toddler and were only ten minutes from an indoor playground. We'd be happy to stay again.

Check-in was easy, and the room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff were friendly, and the whole stay felt welcoming. I'd definitely come back and recommend it.

Housekeeping came into our room and started cleaning while we were still inside and had not checked out. It was shocking and upsetting, and it felt like a serious breach of our privacy and security. We felt unsafe and disrespected for the rest of the stay. Staff should confirm that guests have checked out before entering an occupied room. I've contacted management to ask for an explanation, reassurance that this won't happen again, and appropriate compensation for the distress. I hope they take this seriously. Guests should feel safe and respected.

I've stayed at Sonesta Bellevue for work trips and vacations over the past three years, and the value is good for the location and amenities, especially for a longer stay. The standard rooms are smaller than most, and rooms by the pool are less desirable. Once, during the middle of a work trip, housekeeping threw away our food and toiletries. I figured it was a miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping. I told the desk staff, and GM-Shan took the initiative to fix it and reimburse us for what we lost. My faith in humanity was slightly restored, and I'll keep the hotel in mind for future TDY.
