I’ve stayed here often and really do like the place, so I hope they’ll think more about their guests. The rooms and service were great, but the hot tub wasn’t hot. Its heating system wasn’t working right, leaving the water mild to cold. I was told upper management had to approve the work, and they don’t seem to be in much of a hurry to fix it. That’s why I gave three stars.

The room was clean, breakfast was good, and they let us check in a little early, which was nice. Apart from the pool and hot tub, we had a positive stay. We chose this hotel after calling the day before and being told both were working. When we arrived, the pool was freezing and the hot tub only lukewarm, so clearly something was wrong with both. What frustrated me was that nobody mentioned it on the phone, and no staff member would admit they were broken when we asked. There wasn’t even a sign at the desk, everyone acted as if things were fine. I saw several other guests upset because they’d picked the hotel for those amenities too.

The pool was clean and the surrounding area looked well kept. Breakfast had lots of fresh choices, better than most continental breakfasts we’ve had. The staff were so kind, pleasant, and helpful. We’d stay again.

The room was okay, though worn down and in need of renovation. The price reflected that, and I’d paid with points anyway, so that wasn’t my main issue. After my stay I left a swimsuit in the room and tried several times to contact the hotel about getting it back. The follow-up was useless. Some employees said housekeeping had a separate lost and found, while others checked “the computer system” and brushed me off. As a Titanium Marriott member, I’m deeply disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The room was huge and clean, and I loved having the shower separate from the toilet. The staff were super nice too. Breakfast options were sparse apart from the egg frittatas, which were really good. There were plenty of those, so I ate about six.
