Sleep Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach

We were only here briefly because of a power outage, but the staff treated us very well and went out of their way to make things pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the place welcomes pets. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is my second stay in a couple of months, and I’ll keep coming back. I rarely write reviews, but Joe at the front desk really impressed me. When the TV in our original room didn’t work, he quickly moved us to an upgraded room and made us feel cared for and at home. His hospitality was out of this world. The free breakfast is a nice bonus too. Thanks again, Joe!

I’d consider staying at the Sleep Inn in Rehoboth Beach again, though if the room were like ours I’d raise the problem with the front desk and ask about moving. The staff, location and breakfast were all good, but the housekeeping let the stay down. The front desk team was friendly, patient and accommodating. They were understanding and willing to help when we called about something we’d forgotten. Breakfast buffet was a nice extra, and there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. At first the room looked clean, but the bathroom told a different story. There was hair in the tub that wasn’t ours, what looked like mold around the tub, a loose door handle and dirty-looking flooring. Later, when we called about the item we’d left behind, we were told the room had already been occupied again and housekeeping hadn’t found it. I know the hotel isn’t responsible for lost things, but it seemed like the item had been missed during cleaning too. That added to my sense that housekeeping needs to pay closer attention.

For the price, it was clean and pretty decent. The pillows didn’t smell, and breakfast was better than what I’ve had at some similar budget hotels. I tried the scrambled eggs and they seemed real.
