Comfort Suites Shreveport West I-20

Everything was clean and smelled good, and the room was great. I loved the people working here, too. Thanks to the guy with the ponytail for helping me with the waffle maker. I felt silly for not knowing how to use it when the directions were right there, lol. I’d definitely come back when we’re passing through town again. The bed was so nice I wish I could take it home, haha.

At about 3 am on November 6, 2025, I dropped off two Union Pacific engineers from Texas at the hotel in my UberXL. A shuttle van was parked on the left side of the entrance parking area. A Black female hotel employee walked across the front of my van, and another Union Pacific man walked around it toward the shuttle’s back seat. I noticed the shuttle windshield was badly cracked. As I drove away, carefully navigating rough dips, I reached the traffic light slowly. The shuttle came speeding up behind me, swerved left very close to the back of my van, then braked hard at the red light. I was shocked and angry and told her to slow down for safety. My Rexing R4 dashcam records all around my van and inside the cabin, but I won’t release the footage without the hotel owner’s permission. I wouldn’t be surprised if the owners checked her driving record and found speeding tickets that might explain the cracked windshield. She should be dealt with accordingly. I’m sure she’s terrified a number of Union Pacific employees going to the Resar Yards.

I was visiting a friend who stayed here. The rooms seemed to have everything you need and were clean, the staff were friendly, and it’s convenient to I-20.

I came from out of town for a funeral early in the morning without a reservation. I was going through an emotional time, and the desk manager and room cleaning staff went out of their way to find me a room that day. I’m very thankful they helped me.
