La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Shreveport Airport

After hours on the road, this turned out much better than we expected. Checking in online before we arrived made getting to our room much quicker. The room was spacious, clean, and smelled fresh, and the front desk service was wonderful. Breakfast was great too. The woman looking after the food was very polite and friendly, and asked if there was anything we needed.

The price and quality made this an easy place to recommend. I was initially a bit uneasy when I realized it allowed animals, but I didn’t hear any in my room. I had neighbors and still heard nothing from next door. My room was clean, comfortable, and free of odd smells, and the staff were friendly. The tub looked a little dirty, though it’s older and might just have had a stain from previous guests. The AC was noisy at first, then quieted down after a few minutes.

There wasn’t a single time I left my room without passing a staff member who greeted me. Those little moments made a real difference. Timme was so welcoming at check-in, and I had a great experience with her service. Breakfast was delicious. The woman preparing it kept everything stocked, and the woman tending the dining area was kind to my daughter and me, and just as warm with everyone else while she cleaned the counters and condiments. Great staff all around. They deserve a nice bonus, and thank you!

This was our second stay. The first one went fine, but this time in room 330 was a mess. There was a crawfish smell as soon as we entered, and the elevator kept opening and closing on its own while we rode to and from the room. The key card wouldn’t open the back door when we made several trips to the car. Bo let us in once, but when my husband tried again, he had to walk all the way around to the front. I later left my charger upstairs and had the same problem getting back in. I told the two women at the desk I was upset about the back door key not working, but they didn’t move. It was well before checkout, and guests should be able to get in and out conveniently. I wasn’t happy with this stay.
