Roaches were everywhere, and I’m still worried they might crawl into our bags and come home with us. We also found hair on two fresh towels, so the three of us ended up sharing the one clean towel we found in the caddy. The shower drained poorly and had very low pressure. The sheets smelled of men’s cologne when we got into bed at 11 p.m.; underneath them, the bed protector had crumbs and hair all over it. The halls smelled like marijuana, and the floor looked dirty. In the morning, we found there was no complimentary breakfast as the booking site had said, and the pool we’d planned to use was closed. When I asked for a manager, the maid was eating while talking to me. The manager said he’d cleaned the sheets himself, which I didn’t believe, and smiled when I explained the cologne smell. He offered new towels after I said the ones we’d received were already supposed to be new. He did let the maid strip the bed, and I reported the roaches, but they blamed them on the refrigerator, which looked as if it hadn’t been moved in years, with grime around its legs. They didn’t offer us another room or apologize. I was furious and disappointed, and wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. We were still waiting for the bed to be remade at 11:32 a.m., after asking at 10:30. I took pictures of some of the hair and crumbs, though I hadn’t photographed all the hair on the towels last night because I wasn’t thinking about posting a review then. I don’t usually write reviews like this, but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had.

The front desk woman was nice, and from outside the place looked promising. Inside, we couldn’t use the side doors and had to walk down the hall. The parking lot had no cars, but we could hear people in their rooms, so it seemed like they lived there. Our room wasn’t clean: the microwave smelled so bad I gagged when I opened it, the refrigerator was covered in who knows what, and I’m not sure anyone vacuums the hallways. There was a TV but no remote. We needed somewhere inexpensive that allowed dogs, and I guess this is what you get.

We checked in at 2 a.m. and left without checking out because the place was so bad. The bedding was dirty, with hair between the sheets and comforter. The microwave started making a crazy noise and seemed close to blowing up, so we unplugged it. People were walking around and making noise all night, really into the morning. We ran out of there and won’t be back to this Motel 6.

The woman working the night we arrived was super friendly, but the room and the rest of the staff were garbage. The shower handle was broken, there was no hot water, and the tub had several burn marks along its side. Black mold covered the bathroom ceiling and the area outside it. The refrigerator and microwave were repulsive, and the blankets, sheets, and mattress all had burn holes. I thought I’d booked non-smoking, but it wasn’t, and the room was much worse than just smelling of cigarettes. It was the worst place I’ve ever been to, and nowhere near worth the $70 I paid. I wish I could give zero stars. I had a video, but the site wouldn’t let me add it, so the pictures have to speak for themselves.

The room was dirty, and the cigarette and weed smell was strong. There was paint on the floor, too. I couldn’t easily tell who worked there because the employees behind the counter weren’t dressed professionally or wearing name tags. They were hard to distinguish from guests.
