The rooms smelled awful, and roaches were crawling everywhere. The shower was cracked and hurt my feet to stand in. The AC unit was falling apart, filthy with dust and mold. I’ll never stay here again. Horrible experience.

Honestly, the place was so bad I started laughing. There was mystery splatter on the headboard and mold growing in the newly remodeled bathroom. I really wouldn’t stay here, and think it should be shut down and condemned before somebody gets sick. Then they ask for a deposit. Unless it’s for bleach and an updated tetanus shot on arrival, a guest can’t do more damage than the room’s already in when they check in. Just no.

I only stayed here once, and now I avoid it at all costs. It’s definitely not one of my favorite hotels, and I hope I never have to come back.

We booked this place because our power was out for a few days after a huge storm, and it was the only room we could find while so many people were looking. The woman at the desk was friendly and doing her best during the local emergency. The room was okay, with newer floors and an updated bathroom, but there was no hot water and barely any water pressure. It couldn’t even rinse shaving cream out of my razor. I looked under the sink to see about increasing the pressure, but the hookup valves had their handles stripped off so that couldn’t be done. We were on a non-smoking floor, yet weed from the room behind us kept coming through the bathroom vents, so we kept that door shut. The location is near a bad neighborhood. It wasn’t terrible given the circumstances, but I’d pick somewhere else if I had the choice. Still, if it were this place or my powerless 90° home, I’d stay here again, though begrudgingly.
