The room had a microwave and mini-refrigerator, and it was clean. But it was missing a hair dryer and hangers, so I went straight back to tell the owner. I didn't want him thinking I had taken them. He was friendly, though the sign in the front lobby made me feel unwelcome. I stayed one night at the Silicon Valley Inn on Sep 9, 2025.

Nice, clean place, and close to a Persian restaurant. The room felt small for the price, and the bed is tight for two if you're 6 ft tall.

The rooms have been newly appointed and were clean, with comfortable beds. TV and WiFi both worked well, and the location was great, with places to eat along El Camino avenue and McDonald's within walking distance. The innkeepers are friendly and easy to deal with, even if you make a mistake with your reservation. Fair prices for a nice overnight stay.

After staying here on weekends for more than a year and spending all my savings, I noticed some TVs shut off after 60 seconds unless you press something on the remote. The AC in hot summer weather also kept switching off and on every minute, which was annoying enough that I changed rooms once. The towels called “clean” had old stains and could've been cleaner. Still, the room feels clean when I walk in, which is a plus. It's a beautiful place, one of the area's finest hidden gems in Belmont! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

The only real drawback was how far the nearest store was. It's half a mile away, walkable but not very convenient. Otherwise, everything was great. The rooms were cute, clean, a decent size, and had comfy beds. Staff were nice.
