SureStay Plus by Best Western Benbrook Fort Worth

For the price, this was a great place. The rooms were clean and didn’t smell musty, though there was a weed smell in the hallways. Breakfast could’ve been better: a frozen biscuit that we had to defrost in the microwave, with sausage and egg. They also had cereal, oatmeal, yogurt cups, and basic coffee with no flavored creamer.

For what I pay, I don’t think there’s a better deal in town. The hotel makes it easy to get to my office, and it’s well placed for my favorite Benbrook-area restaurants and businesses, with even one within walking distance. I rarely have issues, but when I bring something to the front desk, they address it right away. This isn’t a sponsored review.

On our third night, a thunderstorm brought water through the closed room windows, and a mouse ran across the floor. I assume it came inside to shelter from the storm. The room was spacious and clean, and the washer and dryer worked fine. If you expect perfect for the price, keep looking. People can and will find fault with anything.

We stayed here in Benbrook in early August 2025 while vacationing in Fort Worth because it was convenient to everything. The paint was peeling, and you could see patched drywall that had never been painted. It smelled bad, and there was no laundry access even though the laundry room was there. We also found cockroaches in the room. Unless you’re okay with the occasional roach, don’t stay here. It’s absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever been in, and I’ve stayed in some shady places. They don’t provide basic items like shampoo, conditioner, or even a hair dryer. Nothing. TERRIBLE!!
