Days Inn by Wyndham Bend

I told the staff at 3pm on Wednesday May 27th that there was blood in my room and the faucet was completely disconnected. Jessica was rude and told me I had to wait until morning. She wouldn't give me contact information for anyone on the property who could help. The next morning, Thursday May 28th, I spoke with the GM. She said she didn't know why they hadn't just moved us the night before. When I was understandably upset about having stayed in a faulty room, she said we were being kicked out and would get no refund because we'd complained too much. I've stayed in hotels from Miami to Texas and Montana, where I'm from, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I've had anywhere. I wouldn't trust this place.

This was one of the worst motel stays I've had. The pool and spa were broken, the tub and shower didn't work, and the bathroom sink wouldn't drain. My parking was taken away, so I had to leave my car on a dark street. They'd taped over my window for painting, leaving no ventilation in the room. Nobody offered a discount or refund. I won't stay at a Days Inn again.

We arrived just after midnight and were told our reservation had been canceled. That wasn't a big deal, so we went to pay. When asked about animals, we said we had a very small service dog. He replied, “Oh no pets. Do you not see the signs?” then took our card back and left. Terrible customer service. Do better, Days Inn.

It was a quiet visit, with no road noise or sounds from neighbors. We had a clean room on the second floor, about halfway down the main building, and the bed and pillows were nice. The shower kept dripping, but stopped about 15 minutes after I used it. Having a microwave and fridge was handy for our leftovers. There was parking out front, and it wasn't full on the Wednesday night we stayed, though a Mexican food truck took up a few spots. Breakfast ran from 6am-9am: coffee, small cartons of orange and apple juice, two cereals with milk, hard-boiled eggs, mini muffins, yogurt, cereal bars, oranges, and bananas. We arrived about 10 minutes before 3 and waited in the lobby with another couple until check-in time; checking in early costs $20.
