Mt Bachelor Village 328 2 Bedroom Condo

I booked a condo as soon as I learned the dates for my son’s Memorial Day weekend baseball tournament, since I knew lodging would be hard to find. Now, a little over two weeks before the trip, they’ve canceled my reservation because of an “emergency” and say they’re fully booked, so all they can do is refund me. I called to ask for a manager, but no one was available, and they wouldn’t explain what the emergency actually was. I’m left scrambling for a place to stay, without even the courtesy of speaking to anyone beyond the woman saying there’s nothing they can do. The customer service was literally the worst. I’m almost glad they won’t get my money, almost.

There are great restaurants nearby, and lots of hiking in central Oregon. The river view is beautiful, and the clubhouse and pool are nice amenities.

After a four-hour drive, we arrived Friday at 8 p.m. to find the heat unit broken and no heat. I called Meredith, and they said they had no maintenance staff and no other rooms available, even though I could see other rooms were available. I had to find somewhere else to stay. I’d never book here again.

Meredith lodging runs the place now, and the booking, check-in, and service were all a disaster. They canceled our room 11 days before the trip and told us we’d have to reschedule because there was nowhere for us to stay. We were going for a family reunion, so rescheduling wasn’t an option. Workers were also hammering and sawing on the balcony at 7:15 in the morning. A price break would have been appreciated after all that trouble, but we got nothing. Don’t book through Meredith lodging.
