The room was clean and the shower was hot, but breakfast was dismal and the coffee sucked. There aren’t any vending machines for drinks or snacks either. If you stay here, go to Sophia's House of Pancakes for breakfast.

I stayed a few days while waiting on my job. The rooms were clean and actually nice, with thick mattresses that made for good sleep. Everything worked in my room, and I didn’t find any bed bugs or other bugs. Most days the total was around 50$-60$, and one day I paid 50$ for a room. Show me a decent room for 50$ with breakfast like waffles, bagels, cereal, coffee, and milk. You might smell some weed, but it’s Michigan, where don’t you? I’ll definitely stay again and recommend it.

The hotel’s in rough shape overall, and the room wasn’t cleaned very well. There was a strange substance smeared on the wall, and it smelled like mildew mixed with cigarette smoke. I gave it two stars because it was only $50, but I wouldn’t pay more.

The room was just decent for the price, but what happened after the snowstorm was alarming. I stayed on Saturday 11/29, and by the next day the lot still hadn’t been plowed or shoveled. At checkout, well past 11 a.m., several cars were stuck. The hotel handed out shovels for guests to dig their own cars out instead of clearing the parking spots. After such heavy snowfall, someone could easily have been hurt. That felt completely unprofessional, and I’m disappointed with the service. They should offer some kind of compensation. If there’s heavy snow, you may not be able to get out.
