Maria's Garden and Inn

We didn’t stay at the inn, but we ate at Maria’s both times we went out while visiting the area. The food was incredible, and Maria was so accommodating. The servers were friendly and personable too. It felt warm and inviting, like dinner at my grandma’s house. We can’t wait to go back.

Mary went out of her way to help us with three rooms for our family vacation. We had dinner in the bistro on our first night, and it was excellent. The location is amazing, and the place has so much character, charm, and a great story. I’m looking forward to staying again.

Tom and Mary were such sweet hosts. The inn felt private, and had lots of amenities, snacks, and drinks. Breakfast was fantastic, and the room was very comfortable. The food was amazing too. It’s close to downtown and the warm springs, and you can walk to everything. Can’t wait to visit again.

The staff were friendly and available when needed, while still respecting our privacy. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and each room had air conditioning and heat. The decor is old-fashioned, quaint, and quirky, and the whole inn felt warm and homey, with distinctive religious icons. Peg Perry, the inn’s Matriarch, had a near-death experience years ago and has since lived as a Christian Mystic. It’s an amazing story, and everyone is welcome. There’s a big family room with couches, a table, chairs, and a large TV, plus a fabulous patio when the weather’s good. The kitchen has what you need to make food, and Curtis puts out a fresh, delicious continental breakfast with juice and coffee. I made a waffle from his prepared batter, and it was great. I hear you can sometimes talk him into making one of his world-renowned breakfasts, too. I can’t say enough about this special place.
