The Chatwal Lodge

Pets are welcome, too! The Chatwal Lodge felt like the cabin stay I'd dreamed of, with a cozy, wholesome, welcoming atmosphere and a real sense of luxury. The staff were an absolute delight and went above and beyond to meet every need. It's hard to put the experience into words, but it was nothing short of five stars!

Mia, Adriana, Lynn, and the rest of the team on shift from Nov 9th to the 11th made this my best birthday weekend ever. I didn't catch the other team members' names, but I appreciate them too. The photos look great, though they really don't do the place justice. We also got lucky with snow on the day we left. I'd absolutely recommend this getaway. Just be aware that Uber is close to useless, so drive up if you want to explore the town. The Woodstock museum isn't far away!

We had dinner Saturday night as two couples, and the staff were attentive from the moment we arrived. The service stayed excellent through drinks and right to the end of the meal. Every dish was spectacular: steaks, duck breast, roasted chicken, salads, chocolate mousse, and key lime pie. We all loved it. The wine list is excellent too. We enjoyed two fantastic bottles of red, both old world. We were lucky enough to thank Chef John in person. You're unreal, John, thanks again! And those warm olives in olive oil with rosemary were divine!

The staff and service were exceptional, and there was plenty to do, from yoga to smores and everything in between. We had a wonderful winter getaway in the large lodge style rooms, perfect for sitting by the fire.
