LakeLodge has a dedicated ski-out trail, Dodgeball, that takes you directly to the Madison 8 lift. To get back, take the Jayhawk lift from the Madison base and stay on past the mid-station. Access to the slopes was unbeatable and helped make our trip exceptional. At arrival, we were greeted at the Moonlight Basin gate and escorted to LakeLodge. The team toured us around the property: 3 Forks restaurant, a huge modern gym, basketball court with climbing wall, golf simulator, cozy common room with snacks and games, plus a locker room that opens onto the pool and hot tubs. The resort charges a daily fee per person, but that includes Moonlight Lodge and the Iron Horse lift. Moonlight Lodge gives you slope-side dining with minimal crowds, a real perk when lunch seating in Mountain Village can be hard to find. Its game room has pool, ping pong, video games, shuffleboard, and plenty of free snacks. I highly recommend LakeLodge for the amenities, staff, food, atmosphere, and slope access.

A really disappointing stay. The pool and hot tub were being renovated, but that was never mentioned when I booked. The on-site restaurant was also closed for two nights of my visit. I booked through Expedia and was charged the property fees twice. They didn't even give me an invoice for the second charge. Very unprofessional.

The whole team deserves thanks for continuing to make things better. At 3 Forks, the food, service, atmosphere, and staff are all excellent.

The team is consistently friendly and ready to help. I love the new Lake Lodge, and its gym has a good range of Pelotons, cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. The Pelotons could use a little attention, though.

Truck drivers should avoid delivering here. The road is on a mountain with dangerous curves.
