We brought our two young kids and never once felt they weren't welcome. The restaurant waiters were especially attentive, warm, and professional, and everyone else was friendly and accommodating too. Our cabin was spotless, cozy, and felt like home. The food was amazing in both taste and quality. Everything was top notch, and we're planning to come back next year. Thanks for a lovely family vacation!

The sleigh ride felt like a storybook evening, with snowy trees, a few flurries, and temperatures in the 30s. Tom and Duke took us through the landscape, and the western feel made it a memorable, nostalgic experience. We didn't stay in the rooms, but the waiting areas were lovely: a warm fire in a cozy cabin while we waited for the shuttle, then an outdoor campfire and comfortable lounge where we could relax with cocktails and conversation before heading out. Staff greeted us warmly, explained safety, and made introductions. Dinner was in a romantic cabin with dim lights and a talented musician playing as the meal was served. The dishes looked beautiful and the selection was impressive, though some flavors were a little dull. The potato soup went nicely with French bread and honey butter. I found the prime rib not warm enough and in need of more seasoning, and the au jus was bland. The chicken pot pie was the standout for me, with flaky crust, tender vegetables, and gravy that all came together brilliantly. I asked for decaf with dessert, but after serving regular coffee to the others, our server didn't come back with mine. Even with that miss, this was a wonderful evening and an experience I'd put on a bucket list.

What a fantastic place! Check-in folks Skyler and Makenzie were great, and Kim from housekeeping even left us a sweet snack basket. Thanks to everyone for a glorious weekend. Also, the goats are hilarious. Bighorn rules!!

The cabins are so cute, and everyone is friendly. I've been using the many trails for cross-country and Nordic skiing for six years now, and I love how much variety there is. The scenery in Gallatin Forest is stunning, and the Lodge has the best local tea.

After our sleigh dinner, a friend realized she'd lost a glove along the trail. Lone Mountain Ranch found it and offered to mail it to us in NYC without us even asking. The meal was five stars, and so was the service. I highly recommend it.
