Montage Big Sky

The staff were incredibly helpful, the pools were great, and the gym was great too. This property is amazing, and it's the best hotel stay I've had at a ski destination. I'd definitely come back.

Cortina was a highlight of our stay. Every course was delicious, the staff knew their offerings well, and our sommelier paired a great wine with each course. From our arrival at the Montage through departure, the team was attentive and professional, and handled even small requests beyond what we expected. The grounds were carefully maintained, and the rooms felt comfortable and well appointed. For luxurious lodging with ski-on, ski-off access, this is the place.

After a day on the slopes, we were craving a good après meal, so we went to Alpenglow. Julie, the bartender, walked us through the menu, and we started with caviar and charcuterie. Ellenor, the sommelier, chose a lovely champagne to go with it, and her service was impeccable. We also had prawns, a burger, and a duck sandwich from Chef Javiers kitchen, and everything was amazing. My favorite was the sticky toffee pudding. Julie makes one of the best dirty martinis in big sky. 10/10, can't wait to return.

I already want to be back. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and it works well for young families as well as couples looking for a romantic break. We loved being able to ski in and out, eat onsite, and visit the spa each day after skiing. The staff were attentive, lovely, and professional. Justin, the front desk manager, Marin from the valet team, and Celena, my massage therapist, deserve a particular mention. The Montage brand came through as reliably as ever.
