High Desert Lodge

It was quiet, and I’d probably stay again just to sleep and save some money. It’s cheaper than staying in page, but there are no amenities at all, not even a restaurant. There’s a gas station down the street, so that helps. They looked to be remodeling, with a couple of holes in the walls, and the bed felt a little hard.

The suite’s full kitchen was really handy for making breakfast and dinner every night, and I’d definitely stay again. The people were nice and the location was great. The room itself was shoddy, though. It’s a Rodeway Inn, so I can’t complain.

For the price, this place was completely worth it. It was clean, and they were very accommodating. Some things were worn and it’s a little older, but that’s to be expected, so I’m not complaining. The woman at the front desk was really sweet and helpful.

The price was great. We couldn’t find a campsite at the same cost that would fit our family-size tent. We arrived late and got a friendly welcome, then a clean room with comfortable beds, A/C, and a shower with such good pressure it felt like a massage after our long drive. The rooms block sound well, so we didn’t hear anyone else. My only disappointment was there being no bathtub for my toddlers, but you can’t have everything.
