Beach Comber at Oak Shores

RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE! This listing is misleading. It isn't a Condo Hotel, isn't soundproof, and doesn't have the facilities for disabled guests it claims to offer. The parking is far from the unit, and the living room blinds were shredded, leaving the inside visible to people walking past. The bathroom grossed me out: the towels were old, filthy and stained, the faucet leaked, and the bathmat had mold. There's no shower bar for someone who is disabled. A train passes every few hours, and you can hear whoever is upstairs walking and talking. I paid close to $600 for five nights but stayed only one because the place was nothing like the listing and the bathroom was so gross. I had to spend another $500 at a hotel for the rest of my trip. The owner wouldn't refund me, and Booking.com didn't help either. You're expected to strip the beds, clean the place and take trash to a dumpster that's nowhere near the unit. The "local manager " you're supposed to check in with doesn't respond or show up. I don't know how the owner gets away with this listing. Definitely rent elsewhere, and don't believe a word Larry tells you.
