Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Biloxi-Ocean Springs, MS

The mattress covers looked like someone had been shot in the bed and urinated on them. Disgusting. We were offered another room, but its lights didn’t work, so we got a refund, thank goodness. The people were nice about it, but please find somewhere else to stay. Don’t waste your time here.

The breakfast was rough: the waffles and eggs were terrible, there was no orange juice, and cereal was the only thing I could eat. Our room also had mold on the curtains, rusty bathroom fixtures, dirty black grout on the floor, and no ironing board or hair dryer. After arriving late at night worn out from a road trip with the kids, we found the sheets smelled awful. When we asked for fresh ones, they brought king sheets for a queen bed and a thin blanket. Luckily, we had extra blankets with us. The front desk woman was sassy and unfriendly, and we didn't see anyone clean the room until our third day.

I wouldn't stay here. The rooms offered at check-in were both dirty or unsafe: one had mold growing on the mattress, and the other had a broken window. I declined them, and the clerk said they'd issue a refund. Two weeks later, they still aren't cooperating, and every time I call I'm told there's no manager available. The place is very unclean, and the staff haven't been honest with me. Deplorable.

Breakfast was hot, with real eggs and meat, and everyone we encountered was great, from the staff and owner to the other guests. Everything about this Country Inn & Suites was fantastic. If you're ever around Ocean Springs, stop in and stay.
