We left a day early after a fight broke out outside our room on the second night. I couldn't call out on the hotel phone because its receiver was broken and disgusting, so I had to find my cell and call the front desk. They were no help and didn't seem to care. My brother had booked the place in a hurry for a last-minute funeral, and I wouldn't have picked it myself. The room reeked of cigarettes, the bathroom was cramped and poorly cleaned, and the sheets and bed cover had cigarette burns. Everything apart from the bed felt sticky and dirty. The hair dryer was filthy and broken. I didn't see any bugs, or I would've left right away, and the bed itself was comfortable.

When I opened the door, there were four men lying around in my room. I was alone, and I'm just grateful they didn't harm me. The woman at the desk nearly set me up, and tried to charge me right when I checked in so she could take my money immediately, even though she knew how run-down the place was. It already looks abandoned when you arrive, and inside it was disgusting, with roaches everywhere. The photos don't show what the place really looks like. Please read the comments and don't waste your money. This place needs to be shut down.

We lasted less than 20 minutes before deciding we'd risk finding somewhere else. The rooms felt gross and unsafe, and everything in ours was dirty, nasty, or cheaply maintained. The other room we booked reeked of bleach, and we barely got a chance to look at it, but I doubt it was any better. We couldn't get the two rooms close together, and the online photos were very misleading. We were in town for the furnace fest and had no luck finding a closer hotel, which is why we booked here. I doubt I'll get a refund for those 20 minutes. I'd give it -10/10.

Roaches were everywhere, there was mold in the bathroom, and the tub and shower were horrible. The TV had a booger on it, and the vanity mirror was covered in handprints, like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The mattress had no cover and looked like it had come off the street. I sat on the edge and started itching right away. We could barely open the door with our two large suitcases. My boyfriend and I got stuck in Birmingham, AL for the night and thought we'd try this “hotel”. It was a huge mistake. We paid over $100 for a nonrefundable night in this disgusting place. The photos don't come close to showing how bad it was. If you care about cleanliness like we do, spend a little more and go to the Holiday Inn.
