The bathroom deserves extra points, and the hotel is an easy walk from our concert venue. It was such a beautiful place. The front desk ladies were on point, and so was Steve, the bartender. He made the best drinks before and after the concert. It’s hard to find a bartender/server with a real personality these days, not just smiles and yes ma'ams, though he had both too. If I go to another concert in Birmingham, I’d 100% stay here again!

A lovely little boutique hotel in a central spot. The staff looked after my wife and me from the moment we came in. Special thanks to Miss Ro for making sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality is top notch. The ladies at the desk and the valet drivers were very helpful too. Five stars across the board.

Only one of the three elevators was working, but the valet guys were super nice, as were the restaurant and bar kitchen staff. The front desk experience was the worst my husband and I have ever had at a hotel. We arrived an hour after check-in started and were told our room wasn't ready. That was inconvenient, but the rude, dismissive, unaccommodating staff were the real problem. They gave us no estimate, while people arriving after us got their rooms. We waited 45 minutes and were rushed for the event we were in town for. When we were finally called over, the woman said, “It was me who called you over here, insert your card.” I tapped to pay, and she rudely asked if I'd inserted it. I said it had gone through on my end, and she just gave me room 706 and looked at her computer, with no thanks or apology for the wait. The next morning, I called down for the truck to be brought around as instructed. The woman who answered asked for our ticket number, said okay, and immediately hung up.

I came for a major career-related event on January 17-18, 2026, and the hotel's handling of my stay left me feeling that my career and reputation had been jeopardized. It began when I arrived at 4:50pm, almost two hours after check-in, and was told my room still needed cleaning. I waited about 30 minutes while guests who came later were checked in and taken to their rooms. The attendant offered drinks at the bar, but we declined because time was tight, and the delay made me late for my event. The breakfast credit she offered required charging items to my room and trusting they would be credited after checkout, so I declined and asked for a manager. I was told one would be available the next day. Once I got into the room, it clearly hadn't been cleaned: hair in the tub, on the sink, and across the bathroom floor. The shower, tub, and toilet leaked the whole stay, leaving water between the shower and toilet. Parts of the carpet were sticky, and the soles of our socks and feet turned black. The room was 64 degrees when it was 30 outside, and heat took an unreasonable time to start. We called the desk and were told to give it a few minutes, and they'd send someone if it stayed off. It came on about 25 minutes later. In the morning I asked again for a manager, but none was on site. A kind, professional clerk offered $50, took my contact details, and said the manager would call Monday. Nobody called Monday or Tuesday. I called Wednesday and was sent to Kenyatta White. She initially seemed empathetic and said the situation should have been handled before reaching her. She said she'd process an additional refund and add Hilton Honors points, and promised an immediate detailed email about both. It never came. When I called Thursday, January 22, Ms. White sounded smug and dismissive. She said we'd already discussed the refund and points and didn't know what issue I had because it was handled. The “refund” was the original $50 front desk credit from checkout day, not anything additional. She didn't say how many points were added and coldly told me to check HiltonHonors.com myself. The 1,000 points she said were added on January 21 didn't appear until I followed up again on January 22, after speaking with Mrs. White, while I was writing this review. The poor transparency and follow-through were extremely disappointing, and I feel I deserved more compensation for the inconvenience. From check-in to the room and management's handling afterward, the whole experience showed a serious lack of organization and accountability. This is one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've had, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone traveling for an important event.

Althea, Tim, Demetrius, Mireca, and Ja’Monica have been wonderful, making sure my young daughters and I had everything we needed. We've had four nights of clean rooms and phenomenal hospitality, and we've really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
