After three long days driving to North Dakota, this was easily the best hotel we stayed at along the way. Our realtor recommended MyPlace Hotel in Bismarck while we were buying a new home, and I’m glad he did. We stayed seven days and had a great experience. The room was spotless, the two beds were comfortable, and the little kitchenette was handy. The dog walking area was a nice extra for travelers with pets, and the property was well lit at night. Just watch your step, since not every pet owner cleans up after their dog. The staff were wonderful. Rhoda at the front desk was kind, professional, and always smiling. She made sure we had what we needed, and it’s clear she enjoys helping guests. I also met David, the General Manager, and appreciated how involved he was at the hotel. As a former General Manager myself, I can say the place runs like a well-oiled machine. We’ll definitely recommend it to others.

Naomi (I’m sure I spelled her name wrong) was kind and professional, and I enjoyed chatting with her while checking in. The room was very clean and impressed me. I was really pleased, and would absolutely stay here again.

The service was excellent, and the room was great and quiet. Having a full-size fridge and freezer was really nice. If the manager sees this, a sign by the garbage disposal switch might help. It looks like a kitchen light switch.

We’re traveling from MA to WA with our dog and stayed here for one night. Our truck and trailer tires were slashed, along with those of six other people, and we were offered almost no support. The woman at the desk didn’t seem to care and gave us a hard time about getting a later checkout. She made us sign up for a rewards program we didn’t want just so we could deal with the tire situation. They said they had no cameras to check. Cars had also been keyed there the previous week, but the workers never mentioned that. We heard it from a nearby gas station attendant. I don’t recommend staying here, or maybe even in Bismarck.

The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are always clean. I’m thankful this hotel chain is an option when we travel across the states with our pets. This stay was frustrating because there weren’t enough luggage carts. With several suitcases and other small things, I had to make five trips from the third floor to the car using the laundry basket provided in the room. They should have at least one cart per floor. I’d still recommend the chain.
