Best Western Milton Inn

The breakfast was good, and the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and washcloths. We were glad to have a place to sleep instead of driving through the night. There were problems with the room, though. BW changed our room, and we found a crayon and a dog treat on the floor. The sheets were clean, but the blanket and bed ruffle were dirty, and the curtain blocked the air conditioning. The TV also turned on during the night and scared us.

The room felt old and smelled, and the area seemed sketchy. The phone in the room didn't work, and the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent. This place doesn't meet Best Western standards, which aren't especially high to begin with. I'd avoid this Best Western.

The room was pretty nice, and the big TV even came with its actual remote, which you don't often get. Everything else was fine, though the refrigerator needs defrosting.

The young man at the front desk in the morning was super nice. The room, unfortunately, was very dark, with only one working lamp. I had to use my phone's flashlight just to read the buttons on the microwave. The carpet was old and stained, the place felt badly outdated, and the room, especially the bathroom, was dirty. I even saw a bug crawling up the wall. From the moment we arrived, I felt I'd chosen poorly. This hotel is overdue for a facelift.
