Everything else was great, including the fair pricing and the location near Hill Country wineries, deutch apple bakery, and downtown market in blanco. It’s a unique, well-built park. The disappointment was the “Riverside” setting: during our stay, as usual, it was dry and there wasn’t really a river. The proprietors can’t do anything about that.

The peaceful setting, with shade along the river and lovely views, made it easy to relax. The cabins were spotless and well kept, and my family and I had a very comfortable stay. It’s also a great spot for exploring nature. We absolutely love this resort and can’t wait to return.

I had a long review that disappeared when I tried to post, so here’s the short version. We slept really well, thanks to the soft, wonderful bedding and bed. The cabin was spacious and very clean, with a pleasant smell, right down to the shower stall. There was a good variety on the cafe menu, and everything we ate was delicious. The workers were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We’d highly recommend it for comfort, quiet, good food, and good company.

We only came for a late lunch at the restaurant/Cafe, so I can’t speak to the rooms or service for a stay. The cafe was a pleasant surprise: great coffee, food, service, and cook. The grounds were neat and clean, with campers and cabins, including a larger one toward the back for bigger parties. The cabins look lovely in a White & Black Farmhouse esthetic. It’s quiet, and the people we met were friendly. We’ll definitely return and recommend this cozy spot. Get those dog on pancakes!
