We liked Blue Mountain enough to come back after Monument Valley. We stayed at two sites and thought both were the best on the property: site 25, a back-in with a nice seating area and great views, and site 40, a pull-through with a patio, nice views, and a good place to sit.

We came across Blue Mountain RV & Trading while heading into Moab and liked it so much that we stopped again on the way out. There’s a great range of rocks, unique art, gifts, and Southwest treasures, and the prices don’t have that usual tourist-trap feel. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the whole place felt relaxed and authentic. Worth a stop if you’re passing through.

Blue Mountian Rv is a good place to stay in Blanding instead of paying more in Moab. The sites are level, with hard-packed gravel drives, and neighboring sites face opposite directions. There’s a small sidewalk to step out on, grass by the door, and gravel on the utility side. It’s clean and has new construction, plus a pickleball court and dog run.

The campsite had a strong cell signal, and the facilities were clean and well cared for. Staff were friendly too. The dryer was the one problem, but the manager promptly returned all the coins.

I spent six months here while working in Blanding. The RV park is comfortable and beautiful, with everything you need either there or close by. The views are amazing, and the family who owns and runs the property were very welcoming and accommodating.
