Super 8 Blanding

We were expecting a pretty ordinary breakfast, but it was surprisingly delicious. Even the eggs tasted fresh rather than frozen or rubbery, like they often do at hotels. We’d booked a king bed, but only one was left, and its door would only open with the master key. They moved us to the suite instead, which was nice, especially with such a large bath.

For a one-night family stay, this was a very nice place. Our room was clean and spacious, and having a fridge and microwave was useful. The hot tub was relaxing, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and accommodating. It’s not a luxury hotel, but if a clean room and friendly service are what you need, this is a great choice.

The only drawback was that there’s no elevator. That was fine for my wife and me, though it could be an issue for someone with a disability. The staff were very attentive, and we’d definitely recommend the place and come back. The continental breakfast was excellent, and the king bed was wonderful. The lobby and room were very clean, with up-to-date decor.

The room was spacious and pleasant, with the bath and carpeting in good condition. The wall art reminded us of home in New England. We liked the comfortable king bed and its plentiful blankets and pillows, plus the current TV and good channel selection. The radio was better than average and let us enjoy a Christmas morning broadcast. We arrived on Christmas Eve to pleasant staff, and someone helped us find a place to eat. The location is handy for downtown businesses. The microwave and coffee pot helped us put together an early breakfast. We didn’t stay for the hotel breakfast or use the hot tub, but appreciated having both available. This was the best combination of amenities and economy we’ve come across.
