The team even made our tight schedule work so we could get as much dancing in as possible. Christian and the bar staff were friendly and quick, and nobody was left waiting for a drink. They also went along with special touches like mini espresso martinis for guests heading to the dance floor and late-night food that wasn’t usually on the menu. The venue is gorgeous, just right for the elegant coastal wedding we had in mind. Everything came together as we’d hoped, thanks especially to Molly, our coordinator. She was organized and responsive from our first meeting, and kept me feeling reassured right through the wedding day. Nothing went wrong. We’re so grateful to Molly and the whole Spring House Hotel team for making the day feel so special.

We got married here in 2019, and everything about the day was perfect. Now we return to Block Island many times each year. We love having drinks on the veranda or in Victoria’s parlor, then dinner on the back patio, or just relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. This is our favorite place to stay and visit. Already looking forward to next Summer.

The squash blossoms are a favorite, and lunch here is always delicious. Our mostly retired “girls” group has made Spring House our annual lunch stop on our day trip to Block Island. We lingered over martinis, appetizers, and lunch for a couple of hours, with fabulous service as always and plenty of laughs. Three of us flew over, while the rest took the Pt Judith ferry, then we met up, shopped, and walked up the hill to Spring House. We couldn’t wait for those martinis. We’ll be back next year, and hopefully we can arrange an overnight stay too, like we sometimes do.

We’ve made Spring House our annual one-night stop on Block Island, and we even held a small wedding reception here with family. The wraparound porch has cozy seating, there’s an outdoor bar, and the lawn’s Adirondack chairs are great for listening to live music. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. With its location and views, this gem is the place I recommend above anywhere else.

The Barn is lovely too, but my favorite place to dine on Block Island is The Spring House. I love sitting on the lawn with a dirty martini and a view of the Atlantic. The drinks are always just right, and the food is spectacular.
