The front desk clerk was very friendly, and the price was quite reasonable. The room was large and clean, with a small refrigerator that had a freezer.

Good location and comfortable beds, and I checked for bugs before settling in and didn't see any. The room was clean, but as someone who cleans homes on the side, I felt it could've been cleaner. The toilet wasn't properly clean, including around its base, the bathroom smelled like pee, and I spotted hair on the sink, which I really don't like because of my OCD.

The service was nice, and the tenderloin tasted good, but it'll be a while before I come back, if I do. I hadn't eaten here in a couple of years and came for lunch, ordering my usual tenderloin and fries without checking the menu. The food arrived quickly, but I got only a handful of short fry pieces, like someone had eaten half of them. The breading on the tenderloin flaked off before I could get it to my mouth. It cost $16.90 for the sandwich and another $3.95 for those few fries. The tea was $2.50 and tasted like flavored water, worse than tea my six-year-old niece could make. I know prices are up everywhere, but $17 for a tenderloin with fries charged separately, plus that much for the tea, was disappointing.

The hotel is dated but okay. Breakfast was a joke: muddy coffee, bread left uncovered, a broken toaster, and cereal with no milk. My sister got sick from the “country fried steak.” The smothered chicken seemed microwaved or left under the heat lamp too long. I returned it, and they still tried to charge me. The prime rib dinner was kind of soupy. Total disappointment, especially since last year's stay was nice and the food was good. Awful.
