We booked a block of rooms for the weekend of my son's wedding, and it was a great experience. The rooms were clean and recently remodeled, and the hotel was excellent all around. The staff were helpful and accommodating, making the stay very pleasant. Everyone we met was great, especially Zarelda Marrero from meeting and events and Vera Rodriguez, the group room coordinator. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dinner at Signature was a highlight, with wonderful food and excellent service. At the resort in the Hill Country outside San Antonio, I'd suggest staying on the child-free Seventh Floor. Marcela is charming and bright at the lounge there, where you can enjoy a drink and a snack.

We stayed one night, checking in Nov 8, 2025 and checking out Nov 9, 2025 with late checkout. My husband and I had a room on the Club level in RM# 7158, right beside the club lounge. It was quiet except for one stretch when a group walked past making a lot of noise. Staying on that floor includes everything in the lounge except alcohol. There were snacks, water, and soda through the day, plus charcuterie and selected wines during happy hour. Off to the side, there's a comfy couch and TV, and tables by the window with beautiful views of San Antonio. The room was really nice, with soft, comfortable beds, pillows, towels, and robes. It felt a little above average compared with other hotel rooms we've stayed in. My one complaint, here and in other rooms I've stayed in, is that the towel hook is by the toilet instead of beside the shower. I think that's weird, lol. The lobby is one of the best I've seen, really open and spacious, with a big cozy fireplace. The check-in desk is tucked behind it, so the lobby doesn't feel crowded. The courtyard just outside is beautiful, especially at night with the firepits lit. The resort is huge, with five pools, a spa, several bars and restaurants, two gyms, and probably more. One pool is for kids and has a slide and shallow area. We ate only at Sweetfire Kitchen. Dinner was delicious and our server was so friendly. Brunch wasn't impressive, though that server was friendly too. Give them both a raise! Here's how we covered the stay and meals: with an Amex Hilton Aspire, we used a $400 annual free night and got a $150 credit, plus an upgrade to the club floor through the card's Diamond status. The card also had a $200 semiannual benefit. We used a $100 resort credit for dinner and another $100 for brunch, plus $30 from the hotel for being Diamond members. There was no parking fee.

After the wedding, my husband and I booked a villa for a mini honeymoon. Check-in was easy, and we were welcomed with two glasses of champagne. When we checked out, I realized I’d left several things behind. The villa staff got in touch and shipped them to us while we were away on our longer honeymoon. They were so kind about it, and we’ll definitely come back. Earlier that week, I’d booked a suite for my wedding party. It was stunning, with four beds and three full bathrooms. The staff were incredibly nice and upgraded us to rooms with beautiful views of the golf course and pools. Amazing experience!
