Breakfast was small, but it gets you going, and they did well with the space they had. I wouldn't expect a full kitchen in such a small place. The young woman working even handled a small mess I made, though I probably annoyed her with how much I apologized. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The price was affordable, and the location is close to the Riverwalk, an easy 5-10 minute walk from attractions. There is a parking fee, but valet is worth paying for. There's a $50 deposit too. I booked a couple of weeks ahead and had forgotten about it until the front desk mentioned it, but it was refunded immediately at checkout. I'd definitely stay again.

This was the worst service I've experienced. The hotel is seriously understaffed, with employees spread far too thin. Most of the time, one man is handling valet, poor guy, so expect to wait 45 minutes for your car.

For daytime sightseeing, the hotel is close enough to walk to the river walk and Alamo. The rooms are outdated but clean. Parking is a nightmare if you're driving. Your choices are under a freeway or valet for $30-40 a night, and the valet service isn't reliable. We arranged to have our car ready at 6 a.m. for checkout. It was there, but no valet employee was around to hand over the keys, so we waited an hour for another one to arrive. The front desk apparently couldn't give us the keys. While we waited, the valet call kept dinging every two minutes with nobody answering. Don't book here with your own car. Spend a little more for a basic service you can count on. Disappointing.

It's in a good location, but I'm done booking here. I've stayed a couple of times for work, and paying $35 a night only to wait 30 minutes or more for your car is unacceptable unless you find parking nearby. The walls are so thin you hear everyone inside and outside. When I arrived, there was no body wash. I told the front desk, but it never came, and they stopped responding to me.
