O'Casey's Bed & Breakfast

We picked this Inn for its location, and parking on the street was easy. The room was okay, though the bathroom was awkwardly arranged and had almost nowhere to set toiletries. The space heaters made me uneasy, and breakfast was mediocre. Part of the appeal of a B&B used to be a homemade breakfast and a host greeting you. That personal touch helped make up for the quirks of an old property. Here it was all self-service: an entry code and breakfast directions, and we might not see any staff during the whole stay.

Breakfast ended up being one of the best parts of our trip. We also loved having a quiet garden to relax in, and the cozy rooms had lovely décor. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. O'Casey's Boutique Inn - Bed & Breakfast San Antonio went beyond what we expected. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting San Antonio.

Amanda made this trip feel special. She welcomed us warmly, seemed to know what we needed before we asked, and added thoughtful personal touches throughout our stay. Her kindness turned a nice visit into one we won’t forget. The rooms were spotless and lovely, a comfortable place to come back to after exploring the city. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served with the same warmth we felt from Amanda. O’Casey’s is full of historic character, but still feels cozy and cared for. From the old doors onward, we felt at ease in the Inn. We left with happy memories and are already hoping to return. Thank you, Amanda, for being the heart of this beautiful place.

The room and accommodations were really nice. Breakfast was underwhelming, though: hard-boiled eggs, a handful of bagels and pastries, and dry oatmeal packets. Maybe it’s different at other times of year, but that’s what we had.
