Extended Stay America Suites Bloomington Normal

It was a quiet night, and we left at 6 a.m. A friendly man asked whether we needed a ticket and took our keys, but the desk was hidden behind a closed curtain, which gave the place a business-like feel. Everything seemed scrupulously clean. We relied on Google reviews and understood it was family-run, though it felt more like a place for temporary workers. When we arrived, the person who greeted us was attentive, but there were bags piled behind the desk and the laundry room door stood open. We guessed the bags held clothes. No one explained how to connect to Wi-Fi or mentioned that the rooms had no kitchen utensils or shower supplies. Still, they left us next to the building. If you want an unpretentious, inexpensive night, it could work.

After the chaos of the business world, Brandy and her team gave me a really warm welcome. Her kind manner and practical, solution focused leadership seem to carry through the whole team. Staying here during a busy stretch of work felt like a relaxing break, and everything from breakfast to room cleaning was perfect. Thanks to Brandy and everyone.

The lobby coffee was hot and ready, and Brandy made everything easy. A lovely woman, she helped me so much and greeted me with a smile.

Mold in the bathroom, food residue on the exhaust hood, and a twisted bathroom door that wouldn't close. The fire alarm went off twice that evening, and the elevator tried to move with its door open. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Stay elsewhere if you can.
