Great Wolf Lodge Bloomington

The kids had a great time, so it was a success for us. There are several places to eat on site, spread out in different areas, which is nice. I don't know the prices, but the hotel has packages, like $70 or $80 worth for $100. We ordered pizza from an outside vendor with a free gift card to save money, and brought snacks and drinks. The room had a fridge and microwave, which was awesome, and our room with bunk beds gave three kids and two adults plenty of space. The check-in was smooth, and there were people ready to help as soon as we walked in. I would have liked more swimsuit hooks in the bathroom, since it only had the towel rack and a hook on the door. The lazy river also needs more tubes, there weren't nearly enough.

The water park was a blast, and our interactions with the staff were great. When I told the front desk our room had no remote, someone showed up a couple of minutes later with a new one and programmed it. The food at Buckets Burgers and Bites was the one real negative. I ordered a burger for convenience, but at $19 it was terrible. I'd have been better off at McDonald's for a Big Mac, and I hate McDonald's. They should be ashamed to charge that much for it. My wife's chicken sandwich was fine. The next day I drove to Walmart and got a $7 deli sandwich that was better. After that burger, I didn't dare spend money at the other restaurants on site. We're still here and so far everything else has been pretty good.

We've stayed twice, once in September and once in January, and enjoyed both trips. I have a 6-month-old, a 4-year-old, and a 7-year-old. Everything is close together on site and laid out nicely, so everyone can do what they want and have fun. The water was decently warm the whole time, which meant we didn't have to ease in because it was too cold. That was especially nice for the baby, who could enjoy the water without getting too cold. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back.

Saturday February 28th 2026. I've been fortunate enough to take my family to different water parks, and this was the worst one we've visited. The hotel stay wasn't what I expected for the price. We were gone both days, and nobody came to clean the room. I had to call the desk for fresh towels each day. Dinner and water park prices were extremely ridiculous. I understand businesses need to charge and make a profit, but this place is overpriced. It was our first visit and definitely our last. If you're reading this, consider other places.
