The landscaping was gorgeous, and the pool and hot tub were a hit. There were gas grills outside, plenty of parking, and enough room to watch the sunrise from the property. The kids also had fun trying to catch lizards. It’s an easy walk to a grocery store and several local restaurants, and Costco is about a 20-minute drive away. The condos are good, but need updating and don’t feel as high quality as the Worldmark places we know. All two-bedroom units are on the third floor. In ours, the second bedroom was upstairs with a partly open wall overlooking below, and the bathroom up there had plenty of getting-ready space. There was a large closet with a few hangers. Bedroom one was right by the entrance, with windows along the walkway, so we could hear people passing. It also had a generous closet where the broom and small vacuum were stored. The pull-out couch is the extra bed, rather than the Murphy bed found in many other condos. The narrow kitchen had basic Worldmark supplies, a few pans, a cookie sheet, toaster, plates, and utensils. There were ice trays for making your own ice. The dishwasher wasn’t secured to the counter and shifted when we closed it, and its door was coming apart. Sugar ants show up quickly and get into everything, so bring resealable bags for opened food. None of the TVs in our unit worked, though we didn’t look into it, and other units in our group had the same issue. Laundry isn’t in the unit. The laundry rooms are on the ground floor of buildings A and C. In June 2026, washing cost $2.75 and drying $2.50. You can buy rolls of quarters at the front office. The humidity and rain often left the carpet and blankets feeling damp. The ceiling fans didn’t seem to do much, and most airflow came from the outdoor breeze or portable fans. They provide two portable fans, but to sleep without overheating, one needed to blow directly on us. We visited in early June and struggled to sleep because the nights were so hot.

All the rooms face the ocean and pool area, and the grounds were kept very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There’s no sand, but we enjoyed exploring the tidepools. There’s no AC, though plenty of fans are provided, and with both doors open we got a nice breeze.

We were there in December and had a decent stay, despite being concerned by some negative reviews. The resort is very close to the airport, about a 15-minute drive in the afternoon and also about 15 minutes on our return. That was in good conditions, of course, and road work or holiday traffic could change the timing. Leaving by turning left can be a hassle. There’s no traffic light unless pedestrians need to cross, and with cars coming from both directions it can take a while to get out. Some drivers signal or flash their lights to let you go, but use caution as you would anywhere. Turning right is easier. How this goes may depend on the time of day or night. The laundry rooms use a standard key from the front desk at check-in and take coins. The resort fee includes a set of quarters. A wash took about 30 minutes, and drying about an hour per load. We didn’t use the pool, but saw it being maintained every morning. It was open 8AM-10PM. The jacuzzi was popular, while the pool never seemed too busy when we were around. The outdoor yard was usually quiet to moderately busy, with a small activity area and plenty of lounge chairs. They have wheels, so you can move them around the yard. The beach is there, but it isn’t very walkable and has sharp coral pieces scattered around. I brought flip flops and would have preferred closed-toe waterproof beach shoes. Some people walked barefoot, so if you’re used to that, good for you. The views were great. When the weather cooperated, we got a beautiful sunrise, and I could take decent photos and videos on my phone, even though some other guests had serious camera equipment. With cooperative weather, the stars were also easy to see at night, despite lights from nearby units and businesses.

The rooms are a good size, though just average, and the views are great. You’re close to a lot of things, which is convenient. For a good swimming beach, you’ll need to walk or drive elsewhere.

The hot tub was out of service on several of the days we were there, and the property is a bit older and run down. Still, the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay overall, and the location is convenient with great sunrise views.
