The room was laid out really well, the bed was comfy, and the towels and bathroom were great. Nothing felt worn or cheap, either. Breakfast was the standout for me, especially all the oatmeal toppings in little jars and the fresh, tasty croissant sandwiches. The downside was the noise overhead: planes seemed to take off every three minutes at night, making it hard to fall asleep. The Wi-Fi barely worked, so I used cellular data.

I never ended up staying here, despite trying to pay for a room. It was early morning and -18° outside, my phone was dead, everything nearby was closed, and I only wanted to charge it for five minutes so I could order an Uber back to my hotel. The overnight staff member dismissed me before hearing me out. I offered to pay for a room, showed my credit card, and explained again that I was freezing and needed a moment indoors to get a ride. He said there were no rooms, though I later checked online and saw some available, then sent me away again. With the cold feeling dangerous, I briefly stood between the sliding glass doors rather than step straight back outside. He called the police instead of helping. The officer who came understood the situation, but the staff member showed no concern. I know hotels have policies, but turning away someone who just needs to charge a phone for five minutes, even when they offer to pay, felt like a complete lack of basic human decency. I left shaken and wouldn't trust this hotel in an emergency. It also seems to me that what happened may have been illegal under Minnesota law.

The staff were all polite, friendly, and helpful, and the place felt family friendly. We had a very nice wheelchair accessible room, plus a useful desk area with free Wi-Fi for working. The room was clean and remodeled, with a comfortable bed and a mini kitchenette equipped with dishes, a fridge, microwave, one cup coffee maker, and mini range. Breakfast is free, along with drinks like coffee, tea, water, and apple cider. Nice hotel for the price.

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and professional, and the rooms were really clean. The gym could use an upgrade, that's my only wish. The location is awesome, right across from Mall of America, just a 5-6 minute walk.

I stayed here for a long stretch and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the whole hotel was perfect for me. Everyone was first class, from management and maintenance to the cleaning crew.
