We couldn’t see ourselves sleeping there without worrying all night that our car might get broken into, so we found another hotel and gave up the money we’d paid for this one. The rooms had trash and broken furniture outside them, and the place looked like it had been turned into low-income housing. It was really gross. Orbitz reviews were misleading, and most seemed to be from 2015. There was even a lobby sign saying management wasn’t responsible for theft or damage to vehicles.

We came from Houston, Texas, and this was the nicest, coziest hotel we found while traveling. Nothing fancy, but it felt homey in exactly the right way. The place is quiet and calm, and the price was good too. If you’re passing through Roswell, stay here.

For $80, I expected better. The place was gross, with broken glass, bugs, and trash behind the microwave. The bed cover had been torn up by previous pets and hadn’t been replaced, so what was the point of charging me a nonrefundable pet fee? There was a broken window, and I saw someone on the phone while my ID was being kept behind the counter, which felt sketchy. The tub was so slippery you could fall just turning around, so be careful. I’ll try to post the pictures I took.

For $53 a night, I guess I got what I paid for, but I wouldn’t have stayed if the motel hadn’t been so cheap. I didn’t find bedbugs, but there were a lot of roaches in room 3. The microwave was infested, and I saw at least 20 during my stay. The box spring had yellow sheets, and one pillow was yellow too. There’s a no-pets sign, yet housekeeping is allowed to keep three noisy dogs there. Check-in and checkout times were confusing, and what I was told didn’t match what I was shown. On my last day, my key stopped working and my things were locked in the room.
