Best Western Plus Roswell / Alpharetta

The hotel was really clean, the rooms were nice, and the beds were so comfortable. The young man at the front desk was courteous and helpful when we arrived. Breakfast was good, and Nadine, the server, was the best, ready to help with anything we needed. The Manager even stopped by while we were eating to say hello and check that everything was okay. We'll definitely stay there again.

Spacious rooms, a really quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and excellent customer service. I stayed for 4 days, and breakfast was different each day.

We had trouble sleeping because the room stayed hot. I set the temperature to 66° at one point, but it didn't seem to cool down, and my husband and I both sweated most of the night. The room seemed clean apart from the floor, which felt a little greasy, and it was decent overall. When we arrived the night before, the man at the desk had been very kind and helpful. Checkout the next morning was a different story. There was nobody at the counter, and a woman sitting at a breakfast table called out, "Can I help you?" We couldn't tell if she was a guest or an employee. We said we were checking out, and she yelled that we could put the cards in a bowl. After we loaded the car, my husband went back to ask whether the deposit charged at check-in would be returned to his card. We'd booked online through booking.com and had already paid the full nonrefundable amount, so we hadn't known about the deposit. Another woman was now behind the counter, but she didn't seem to understand the question. The woman at the table called over that it would be returned. We left, but she came across as rude, unwelcoming, and lacking basic customer service. We'll choose somewhere else when we come back to Roswell.

The front desk man was kind and friendly, and I enjoyed the complimentary soft mints there. The room itself left me worried about the hotel industry. Its popcorn ceiling could contain asbestos, so stay vigilant and cautious while you're in a room. The laminate floor was disguised to look like hideous, ugly, gut-wrenching fake wood, and I hope never to see anything like it again after this stay. The rooms felt comparable to a dwelling in a more ghetto location. Don't be fooled by the name “Best Western Plus,” this hotel is far below others. If big corporations don't change their ways for the greater good of humankind, havoc will unfold upon the nations.
