Hampton Inn Blue Ash/Cincinnati

The beds had only sheets, no blankets, and there were stains in the rooms and around the hotel. The soft water was gross, too. The staff were so unaccommodating. In our first room, the air conditioner sounded like a lawn mower. We asked to switch, but the AC in the next room was broken too, even though we were told it worked. They said we'd get a call, but never contacted us and ghosted us for the rest of the stay. This is the most pathetic hotel I've ever stayed at. Save your time and money, and don't stay here. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

Sammy’s next door has outstanding service, burgers, and brews. At this hotel, service was minimal. I asked the desk for dining suggestions and was told it was the employee's first day and they didn't know any. We arrived early after calling to ask whether the room was ready, but when we opened the door it wasn't. The second room was ready, though the bathroom vanity light was out, the sink faucet and door handle were loose, and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper. The desk said maintenance wasn't available on weekends. We were here for a soccer tournament, and the location was convenient to the fields, shops, and restaurants. It was clean and safe enough for the night, but don't expect exceptional service.

The AC units keep switching on during the night, and they sound like an old generator starting up. You can't turn them off, so I barely slept. Otherwise, this could be a great hotel to visit.

They kept ignoring me when I tried to get the ACs fixed. The unit in our first room sounded like a lawnmower, so we changed rooms, but the replacement AC didn't work either, despite being described as working. The so-called blanket was an empty duvet with no filling, basically another sheet. I spent 10 minutes explaining the difference to the front desk, and they finally gave me an extra bed pad, which was good enough. This place is a dump.
