The Dogwood Inn

We got snowed in during our stay, and Jim and Cydnie made sure we had everything we needed and got home safely. They took incredible care of us and were wonderful people. The hospitality and food were great. Best Bed & Bed Breakfast experience by far!

We were so glad to find this place for our first B&B stay. The hosts were kind and helpful with anything we needed, and the morning breakfasts were impressive and tasty. Just a few minutes outside Downtown Blue Ridge, it feels like you're out in the country. Sitting out back, we saw turkeys, deer, and different kinds of birds. What a gem, it didn't disappoint. Don't hesitate, book it!

Jim and Cyndie made this such a memorable getaway, and we're already planning to return. Jim showed us around when we arrived and told us about the property. At breakfast the next morning, they served fresh coffee, juice, and a delicious gourmet meal they had prepared themselves. We ate on the back porch and spotted close to two dozen cows from the neighboring property, along with several horses and birds. After our planned family visit was canceled, my husband and I decided to get away for a night. The Dogwood Inn was less than five miles from downtown Blue Ridge, yet felt like it was a world away in the best way. Our suite, The 3 Bears, had a lovely cabin-like feel, beautiful decor, and a bed that was just right, neither too firm nor too soft. There was chilled water waiting in the room, plus a huge soaking tub and spacious shower that made it easy to relax. The views from the sitting area behind our room were amazing. What a fantastic stay!

Cyndi's breakfasts were delicious, and the presentation was magnificent. Cindy and Jim are fantastic hosts, so friendly and accommodating, and they provide a first-class stay. The inn and rooms feel warm, inviting, and comfortable, with beautiful appointments. This is a gem and the best Bed and Breakfast I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Blue Ridge! Patrice and Barry August 2025
