Extended Stay America Suites Boca Raton Commerce

I’ve been here for several months, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The grounds are well kept, and I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The staff have been so friendly and helpful, the smiles in the office are contagious, and everyone is polite. Neisha, Vania, Yolene, and Jenee have been superb with their service and hospitality. Neisha and Vania are always there for me, checking that I’m okay and going out of their way to help. Robert, Claudette, Marie, and Chris from maintenance have all been amazing too. Thank you all. You feel like my new family, and I really appreciate you. The Estended Stay at Boca recently changed management, and it takes time to settle in and work through things left behind. My family lost our home, so this is our temporary home. The staff are wonderful, professional, and really friendly. I just wish the rates were cheaper, though I understand it’s a business. When my family finds a home, I’m going to miss them.

The bathroom and the rest of the suite were nasty, with a filthy toilet, counters, and mirror. There was dirt, dust, and grime throughout, and the smell was horrible. The oven also seemed like a fire hazard because of all the grease inside and on top. My sister and I ended up sleeping in the car after we had to cancel the reservation and there was no other availability. We flew in from PA and arrived an hour before check-in. I was told the two-bedroom suite wasn’t cleaned yet, so we came back two hours later and checked in. I made a formal complaint and was told someone would call within 48 hours, but nobody has responded. We spent additional money when a different Brand hotel took us in so we wouldn’t sleep in the car. Our safety felt jeopardized, and we suffered unwanted mental anguish. I’m very disappointed. There was no zero-star option, so I gave one star. I expect management to contact me as promised, and I’ll also be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

We got into the lobby fairly quickly once we checked in, but because it was after hours we had to wait outside for quite a while first, breathing in a lot of marijuana smoke. The grounds didn’t seem well kept and felt kind of sketchy, as did some of the people staying there. Our first-floor room faced the lake and was generally clean, but the toilet kept running and someone had left a floss pick on the stove. I wouldn’t stay here again.
