La Boca Casa, a VRI Resort

The place is attractive and in a convenient location, but the service made our stay very difficult. We were two families and both ran into the same check-in problem: there was no one on site to welcome us or explain anything, and the phone number on Booking didn't answer. Another guest saw we were confused, kindly gave us a contact number, and helped us reach someone. Everything was handled through WhatsApp. The coffee was never replenished, getting the water dispenser filled took a lot of effort, and although bicycles were advertised, none were available.

I loved the remodeled kitchen, the furniture, and the beautiful view. The bed was comfortable too, and I even wished I could take the pool furniture home. I booked through a third party and didn't realize the front office would be closed, but when I called, check-in went smoothly. The place felt very private and secure, and was way better than a hotel room. I'd highly recommend it.

The workers are nice, and the place itself is decent. But the rooms have a musty smell, from what I noticed and heard from other guests, and it seems stronger with the AC running. I think the ducts and filters need cleaning. My allergies flared up after just one night, so fixing that would make a big difference to my rating.

I used to own a unit when this was La Boca Casa, though I haven't visited 365Ocean yet. We always had the last week of the year and loved spending the holidays there. The new floor plan looks fabulous, especially opening up the kitchen and living room and making an island, just like my husband and I had imagined. Laundry used to be free downstairs in the stairwell, and now each room has a washer and dryer. I'm in a chair now, so I'd need a ground-floor room. Is the elevator still working, and how many accessible rooms are there? Some photos would be appreciated. I hope to visit soon, though once I get there I may never leave.
