The staff who dealt with guests were kind, but that was the only good part. On my last night, I came back late and found a small bug on the bathroom floor. I killed it and tried to get some sleep, but found three more when I got up, then another three about an hour later. By around 4 a.m., I’d killed 12 small roach-like bugs. There was obvious water damage in the room that had been poorly repaired, and I suspect that’s where they came from. I was exhausted and didn’t go to the desk during the night. I explained it at checkout and was told a manager would call, but no one did. I’d originally been encouraged to post a review when I checked in, so I deleted the one I’d left on TripAdvisor in September. I booked through Chase and contacted them. Almost three weeks later they said the hotel hadn’t responded and wouldn’t address the problem. I wasn’t asking for a full refund, just some acknowledgement of how disgusting the experience was. Nice-looking outside, decent staff, bugs inside, and apparently no interest in guests once they’re leaving.

I’m already looking forward to coming back. Check-in was a great start, the staff greeted me warmly and thanked me for my Marriott status. The pool was terrific, and the front desk team was kind throughout. Nadege made breakfast especially enjoyable with her professional, welcoming service, and she kept the Marriot Club clean and in good shape. Great hotel and a really good stay.

What makes this Renaissance stand out is the team at the front of the house. Everyone was genuinely welcoming, and that’s what would make me choose this place again when visiting the area. The outdoor space is a big part of the property, especially for guest activities and amenities. There were two corporate events near the pool during my stay, which brought a fun buzz and plenty of people around. It had a Miami Beach hotel feel, but it was even better being in Boca. Many thanks.

Peter, the bellman and concierge, was the highlight of our stay. He was cheerful, had a lovely attitude, and made us feel right at home. He’s a gem, and I wish more people had his disposition.

I came here for work and wished I’d had more time off. The pool area feels like a resort, and for a small, affordable hotel it’s surprisingly luxurious. I’d happily spend a whole day by the pool and at the restaurant for a quick getaway. Definitely recommend it.
