Days Inn by Wyndham Boerne

The roaches were the main problem. I found them in my room and on the tables, though thankfully not in my bed. Some TV channels had sound but no picture, and the channel selection was limited. Everything else was fine for a two-star motel. When I told the front desk, the woman gave explanations that didn't seem to fit. She said exterminators were due the next day, on Sunday, which I found hard to believe based on my experience at apartments and schools. She also said Spectrum was changing channel providers. I suspect she didn't know the actual reasons and was just trying to answer. That's why I'm giving two stars. Fact-check this!

Karen made us feel welcome and did her best to make sure we had what we needed. Sam was helpful too, with good suggestions for nearby restaurants and attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently close to shopping and dining. We had a fantastic stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Boerne Texas, thanks to their service. We'd recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, enjoyable stay in the area.

The price felt fair, the beds were comfortable, and the front desk clerk was accommodating when we arrived. I also appreciated that they accepted my ESA dogs. But cleanliness needs work: the floors were sticky enough to make walking barefoot unpleasant, there was someone else's hair stuck to the shower wall, and a bedside drawer held residue from cocaine paraphernalia, including baggies, paper, and a straw. Those issues kept this from getting a higher rating.

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, I paid a lot to stay here. I woke around midnight to cockroaches in the bed, turned on the lights, and left them on. I couldn't rest, and kept seeing more bugs through the night. I didn't call the office at that hour. The next day I told the front desk they needed an exterminator. The response was, “I will let them know.” There was no apology or customer service. I'll never stay at any Days Inn again. I should have demanded my money back. If management cares, they can reach out to me.
