Indian Park by the Intracoastal was a lovely spot for sunset celebrations. We also found great takeout nearby, and on our third day we biked all the way to Boca Raton. After months of cabin fever at our FTL home, my wife Sandra and I really needed that weekend away. 1229 Apartments was a perfect base, with an awesome location and three great days of riding on A1A. We had a perfect stay and highly recommend it as a Greater Fort Lauderdale option.

Shannon, the manager, is amazing and really looks after you. The place is family-owned, and you can feel that care in the customer service, grounds, and day-to-day operation. The rooms and apartments are extremely clean and up to date, and the location is hard to beat, right on the beach with A1A and the Intracoastal on the other side. I've been coming here since I was 17 and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
