Hyatt Place Boise/Towne Square

The staff were pleasant and courteous, but breakfast was a letdown. The biscuits were hard and dry, the choices were limited, and the cereal milk was warm. I had the worst night’s sleep. The heating and AC unit seemed confused, the pillows were awful, and the mattress felt like a rock. I’d paid for a room with a tub, but when we arrived they said no rooms with tubs were available. The Placery was closed as well.

The room was comfortable and laid out well, with nice bedding. Breakfast was satisfactory and there was plenty of space for everyone. The gym was more than adequate and open 24/7, and the desk staff were awesome. It was also easy to walk to a few places to eat, which is great after spending too much time in a car. The A/C was so loud when it cycled on, and the thermostat didn’t have a setting for a constant fan. Even with a sound machine app running on my phone next to the pillow, I couldn’t get into a deep sleep.

It’s convenient to reach, even with Boise traffic, so I’d stay here again on my next business trip. The carpet in my room could use some attention, though.

The service was amazing, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great. Then I went to use the shower and found hair in it and mold all over the curtain. It was so gross that we ended up showering at a friend’s house.
