We've been coming here for years and feel safe staying here. The location is prime: the beach is under 5 minutes away, Stingree is under 20 minutes away, and bird sanctuaries are all within 5 miles, which makes this a great spot for birders. The owners are a hardworking, caring family. The rooms are older, but affordable and clean, with cold AC, hot showers, and clean sheets. I always strip the beds and carefully check for bed bugs because I dealt with them about 15 years ago and wouldn't wish them on anyone. I've never found anything here but clean sheets. We had another relaxing stay last weekend. Thanks for the great memories!

The staff were so kind. On a very hot day, they came to sort out the AC when we couldn't work it, and even found us a fan. The pool was nice, and my daughter loved the fountain. Since the restaurant was closed on Monday, it was handy to have a store within walking distance.

The woman who runs the place was fantastic, friendly, and really helpful, which made the stay better. My 5-year-old daughter loved it! The beach is easy to get to, and the peninsula hotspots aren't far. This is a more nature-focused stretch of coast, so it's great if you like birds and turtles. Bring mosquito repellent!

The food was fantastic, especially the Asian noodles and dumplings, which were the bomb. The chicken fried steak and hamburger were very good too. The pool and rooms were clean, and the owners or family were extremely friendly. The AC wasn't as cold as it was on our previous stay, but it was still comfortable, and they provided a fan. It's not fancy, just a good little place to stay while visiting the beach.

The staff were very nice and responsive, and there's a convenience store next door. It's close to the beach without the beach price. Though it's an older motel, it's clean, with good AC, plenty of hot water, a comfortable bed, and a clean pool. I didn't get to try the restaurant, but it's supposed to be good. I'll definitely stay again.
